Very good. - sc The 7 inch high by 9 inch wide brightly colored image is cut out from an unknown original source possibly a promotional hand-out and mounted onto corrugated board. A few tears within the image are thus reinforced by the mount. A small piece is out from the front of the engine. The superb image depicts the elevated over a busy City street where pedestrians stroll next to horsedrawn carriages and the horsedrawn Harlem 4th Ave R.R.C. trolley. Attractively framed under glass. The print consists of 2 woodblock illustrations one depicts yellow berries on colorful fans floating on swirling black & white water with white leaves the other is of colorful geometrical shapes & leaves. Annotations in Japanese calligraphy are printed at the right of the top illustration and above the bottom image. Stab marks along the right edge of the print not affecting the images would indicate that this print was once bound. There is some slight soiling and creasing to the bottom edge of the print which does not affect the image. A beautiful and delicate color woodblock print mounted with archival corner mounts into a 14 inch high by 10 inch wide mat. Circa, [1910]. unknown
