This book is hard-bound in blue paper covered boards with a red cloth spine with silver and gilt stamping to the spine in a nice dust jacket with some edge-wear. He was persistent in the pursuit of autographed books by the writers and artists he admired including Gorey Sendak Heaney Byatt Morrison Updike and many more. Joseph Heller once wrote to Tubby in response to one more "please sign and return" request: "This is turning out to be a hell of a lot of work!"
