The lies passions and dangerous obsessions of a 1950s upstate New York family. First printing and stated "first trade edition" with correct full number line sequence. The book appears to be unread and there is no writing marks underlining or bookplates. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true and the corners are square. The textblock edges are moderately foxed/soiled and there is a slight bit of puckering and very light staining to the pages characteristic of water damage but this is not immediately noticeable. Dust jacket is not price-clipped and is in fairly remarkable condition with very little shelf wear and no tears but there is some creasing to the jacket flaps.
