Since this was a masterful labor of love by the printer the text block is perfectly preserved and the book has been bound in half goat skin leather over cloth and housed in a custom slipcase. This special edition is limited to 10 copies. The present copy is #7 of an edition of 10 and signed by the binder. With two printed mimeo snipes affixed to the verso crediting both men also as producers. <br/> <br/>The first film adaptation of James Joyce's influential modernist novel and one of the only adaptations to take its dialogue directly from the book. The film came under heavy threat of censorship due to profane for the time language and was given an X rating in the UK after Strick refused to edit out any of the "offending" passages.
