The book itself is on the low end of good condition: the binding of the pages is loose although no pages are missing or tearing out. Some foxing on the front and back pastedowns and endpapers and on the fore-edge of the text block. Significant shelf wear on the head and tail of the cover.</p> Harper & Brothers hardcover
