19542018196<p>If I'm not mistaken this is the first US edition of Huxley's <em>The Doors of Perception. </em>This particular copy has a dust jacket in poor condition with pieces of the jacket missing especially a large chunk out of the part that would be covering the spine see pictures. The book itself is on the low end of good condition: the binding of the pages is loose although no pages are missing or tearing out. Some foxing on the front and back pastedowns and endpapers and on the fore-edge of the text block. Significant shelf wear on the head and tail of the cover.</p> Harper & Brothers hardcover
