Some minor wear; otherwise very good overall.<br /> <br /> Nearly complete run of the American science fiction comic magazine which changed its name from 1984 to 1994 starting with issue #11 to comply with a request by the estate of George Orwell. Advertised as an adult fantasy magazine it featured very mature subject matter by the standards of the time. To compete with rivals such as Heavy Metal it contained many stories about sex and other controversial subjects. Infamously issue #3 included the satirical story "The Harvest" by Bill DuBay which imagined a future where white people hunted black people for sport and ate them.<br /> <br /> From the library of Howie Pyro dubbed the "Patron Saint of the Weird" by Village Voice. Pyro born Howard Kusten 1960-2022 was a veteran of the New York punk and underground scenes best known for his work with D Generation and Danzig. James Warren unknown
