Nella numerazione sono comprese le 16 tavole a piena pagina ideate da Vassos. Un solo aggettivo: entusiasmante. Lievi mende alla legatura, qualche infinitesima traccia d'uso, in più che bello stato, notevolmente poco comune.

Wilde's controversial essay, attempting to solve the mystery of Shakespeare's Sonnets, was first published in Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine in July 1889 (see Mason p.6; 4).
