Inside front board a little slack with binding still tight and solid. All pages with more than eighty traditional rhymes in excellent clean and bright condition. Pogany was awarded gold medals in Budapest and Leipzig Expo as well as the London Masonic Medal and became a Fellow of the London Royal Society of Art. Internally beautifully-designed endpapers and magnificent Pogany color illustrations as well as silhouettes and marginalia at virtually every page. Very light soiling and several minor chips not affecting the plates at a few of the lower-edges tender but still perfectly sturdy inner hinges half-title/frontispiece page loose.
