This copy was brought to the Canadian Premiere June 19 1999 Hummingbird Centre Toronto Ontario of the Polish classic book by Sienkiewicz titled With Fire and Sword Ogniem i Mieczem in Polish made into a film by the legendary Polish director Jerzy Hoffman and inscribed by Mr. Hoffman along with signing by one of the principal actors Wiktor Zborowski who played the character Longinus Podipieta. This was done after the film showing of the Canadian Premiere in the Centre lobby. Laid in are two copies of the Program booklets along with two used tickets for the event. Foreword to the book by James Michener. Modern translation from Polish to English of this text by the renowned W. S. Kuniczak. Finding this edition of this historical fiction classic in such nice condition is more difficult under normal circumstances.
