Australia imposed high tariffs on textile imports dealing a significant blow to Japan as a primary exporter of cotton and rayon to Australia. The article furnishes comprehensive information on the trade dynamics between Australia and Japan ultimately asserting that the diversion policy aimed to counter cheap imports from Japan safeguarding the interests of the British textile industry. <br> <br>In addition to this primary piece the children's newspaper features educational exercises and showcases calligraphy works submitted by its young readers.
