Author's inscription otherwise the rest of the inside pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has wear to the edges and the white panels show some soil. The spine titles are somewhat faded. It has some light scratches and rubbing overall. The story of George Darby a medical student who became a medical missionary at Rivers Inlet on the west of coast of mainland British Columbia in 1912. He was honoured in 1944 by Chief Mood Humchitt who bestowed him with the name Wo-Ya-La "The Highest". The newsclipping in the back is about the author and his travels to the area as part of his writing research.
