A trusted aide of Dr. King Young was with Dr. King when King was assassinated. Young was elected and re-elected Representative in the United States Congress when he was the first African-American from Georgia to serve since Reconstruction. He was appointed by President Jimmy Carter as Ambassador to the United Nations resigning after a scandal. He was elected and re-elected mayor of Atlanta. Reverend Young has been the recipient of many honors including the Presidential Medal of Freedom USA and the Legion d'honneur France. This is the sixth of seven books written by Reverend Young.
