No previous owner's names or inscriptions. Clean interior. Overall a VG copy in a very good dustwrapper with the brown block and author's name faded to a dark olive green. There is minor loss to the spine tips and a couple of short edge tears and associated creases to the top edge. There is also a tiny concertina tear to the middle of the spine and a tiny hole also to the spine. Great cover art by 'MB'. Prints the novellas 'Chit of a Girl' La Marie du Port and 'Justice'. In 1950 Ka Marie du Port was adapted into a French film of the same name directed by Marcel Carne and starring Jean Gabin Blanchette Brunoy and Nicole Courcel.
