No previous owner's names or inscriptions. Clean interior. Overall VG copy with light offsetting to the end-papers. The dustwrapper is priced 9s 6d net to the inside flap as called for. The dustwrapper has chipping rubbing and shallow loss at the spine tips not affecting any lettering and a couple of short closed tears neatly repaired on the verso with filmoplast Overall quite a nice copy with a very clean back panel. There is also a tiny concertina tear to the middle of the spine and a tiny hole also to the spine. Great cover art by 'MB'. Prints the novellas 'Chit of a Girl' La Marie du Port and 'Justice'. In 1950 Ka Marie du Port was adapted into a French film of the same name directed by Marcel Carne and starring Jean Gabin Blanchette Brunoy and Nicole Courcel.
