All title pages and final pages browned at edges. Title page of vol.1 professionally laid down. Foxing to early and late pages and very minor scattered foxing throughout in all vols. Three plates and one fold-out inscription to Vol. 3 all signed by E. Malpas each with small library stamp to reverse. Size: 4to 21 x 27cm. The Academie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres founded in 1663 published 317 volumes of learned commentary the 'Histoire et Memoires de l'Academie' between 1717 and 1793.
