A tight and attractive much later ca. late 1970s-early '80s printing of this Modern Library Giant #40 first published in 1938 -- with a nice autograph addition: Tipped to the front flyleaf is a fine 4½" X 3" slip on which Poe's introducer boldly pens: "with all Cordial Regards / Hervey Allen / 19 Savage St. / Charleston S.C. / January 1924."
