Nell Walden (born Roslund, 1887-1975) was a Swedish-Swiss painter, musician, writer and art collector, the wife from 1912 to 1924 of Herwarth Walden - the renowned German publisher and radical art dealer, whose gallery and publishing company provided an avant-garde forum for the Blaue Reiter, Wassily Kandinsky, and the Italian Futurists. In 1933 she moved to Switzerland. Contains one color and 14 b&w full-page plates. 200x130mm. 47 pages & 15 plates on 8 pages (+8 pages of advertisement). Illustrated Softcover. Cover and spine slightly stained and rubbed. Cover corners slightly creased and rubbed. Spine upper edge and pages upper corner bumped and wrinkled. Small stain on text block edge. Ex-libris sticker and stains on front inner cover upper corner. Nell Walden's signature on title page. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare catalog signed by Nell Walden is in good condition.
