Volumes VII & VIII contain Johnson's "A Tour to the Hebrides". Each volume still contains the extra spine title label as issued loosely tipped on to each rear end-paper. Boswell's "The Life of Samuel Johnson." was first published in 1791 and will always be regarded as Boswell's greatest achievement.
