This very early proposal for a graduate institution in architecture in the United States seems little known; it is not mentioned by Mary Woods in her recent book FROM CRAFT TO PROFESSION THE PRACTICE OF ARCHITECTURE IN NINETEENTH CENTURY AMERICA. Cloth cover has some wear along the edges but is mostly good and clean. Dust jacket has considerable wear such as some small tears along the edges a few stains and a bit of rubbing/scratching.
