The spines are faded to an attractive brown colour from what was likely green. Vol 1: 522 pp Vol 2: 480 pp Vol 3: 464 pp Vol 4: 446 pp Vol 5: 460pp Vol 6: 324 pp. Complete with 4 frontispieces and 6 fold-outs all in very good condition. Minor offsetting from frontispieces. Minor but noticeable foxspotting to blocks and some pages edges. Clean throughout and with no markings annotations. Each volume is stamped "Bound by Zaehnsdorf" to lower edge of FFEP. Very good hinges and joints. Some edgewear present to boards and some minor bruising to corners. Volume 2 has a bent lower corner. Some minor nicks to the raised bands and a very small splatter of red paint to foot of volume one about the size of a match-head. An attractive set. Securely packed and shipped.
