It is illustrated with eight beautiful original glazes by Hernan Valdovinos executed especially for the edition. This third edition consists of one thousand and sixty copies numbered from 751 to 1810. The texts were printed on Hopper Natural papers and the illustrations on Smooth Vellum Natural papers distributed by G.M.S. Graphic Products. Its design and care were in charge of Ismael Espinosa in whose house it was finished on November 27 1996. This translation was published in 1975 two years after Neruda's death. Poems appear in both Spanish and English with translated pages facing each other so the two versions can be viewed side by side.
