189019745<p><strong>Charming and curious album by a butterfly hunter containing 76 pairs of finely arranged and glued wings completed with the body of each butterfly in gouache.</strong><br />The colors are very well preserved with iridescent hues rendered brilliant by the glue used. This is the same glue used to fix the colors of enhanced engravings from this period.<br />The last page features 11 butterflies made from natural leaves and flowers.</p>
