This is the same glue used to fix the colors of enhanced engravings from this period.<br />The last page features 11 butterflies made from natural leaves and flowers.</p>

Bunnell's book describes the discovery of an iconic American landmark and one episode in what is sometimes called the California genocide. This copy is inscribed by Bunnell to a fellow soldier.
