1914355490721533London 1914. First Edition. London: G & D. L. nd circa 1914. First Edition. It is likely that this board game was produced at the start of the First World War when the prevailing feeling was that the War would be over pretty quickly. The Game is a "snakes and ladders" style game and consists of a race between Great Britain France Belgium and Russia to enter Berlin. It was found tucked inside an old family bible and must be exceedingly uncommon. The fact that the Great War lasted until 1918 makes this a most interesting period-piece from a different era. Scarce. Photographs/scans available upon request. unknown
