This is also consistent with this being the correct Spring 1932 jacket. Toledano binding #7.<br />The book is Good. Binding solid but boards are slightly warped. Topstain bright with minor scuffing. Pages edges evenly tanned. Spine gilt bright. 1/4 closed tear to bottom of rear endpaper and final page. Jacket is GOOD with several large tears and attendant creasing . A previous price 1.50 is written in colored pencil on title page leaving its impress on the next page. Spine slightly tanned and faded with moderate chipping at top and bottom. Both flapfolds worn with tears start 'Sanctuary' is Faulkner's attempt to write a novel that would make money by inventing the "most horrific tale I could imagine" and then putting it on paper over the course of three weeks.<br /> hardcover
