This book is in Very Good condition and is lacking a dust jacket. The book is in mostly clean bright condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers has some light bumping and rubbing. The text pages are generally clean and bright. There are a couple of lightly penciled former owner's annotations not sure if they are annotated by Robinson but it's very possible to the text. This copy also includes Edward Arlington Robinson's bookplate on the front pastedown page and a different previous owner's inked name and notation on the front endpaper. All edges of the text block have light toning and spots of foxing. "John Addington Symonds Jr. 5 October 1840 – 19 April 1893 was an English poet and literary critic. A cultural historian he was known for his work on the Renaissance as well as numerous biographies of writers and artists.
