There is a brief introduction, but the rest of the tale is told solely in these artifacts dropped from Cupid's diary. "Le forme del tempo e del cronotopo nelle letterature romanze e orientali", com'è del tutto evidente, volutamente richiama il titolo del grande saggio bachtiniano, ma invero s'ispira a un intento critico più articolato: tema del Colloquio è stato infatti non il cronotopo secondo Bachtin, anche, ma, da un lato, l'analisi della dimensione cronotopica a partire dai testi e secondo prospettive molteplici, dall'altro, in linea con i colloqui "Medioevo romanzo e orientale", la verifica di possibili specificità che testi romanzi e testi orientali presentano nel costruire, appunto, le forme del tempo e del cronotopo. Gli interventi qui proposti, pur nella varietà degli approcci seguiti nell'analisi testuale, intendono porsi come un contributo interdisciplinare e per vari aspetti sperimentale, alla rilettura della lezione bachtiniana sul cronotopo letterario, per verificarne le potenzialità e per tentare di arricchirla.
