This edition was offered at the vast sum of 300 fr back in 1936. The so-called "regular" edition of 200 copies sur velin went for the modest price of 35 fr. Condition of sheet is very good. The catalogue features eight pages of black-and-white photos of some of the works in the exhibition along with texts by André Breton Paul Nougé Marcel Mariën Tristan Tzara Paul Éluard René Magritte and Louis Scutenaire. <br /><br />The catalogue lists 167 works in the exhibition by such artists as Hans Arp Giorgio de Chirico Max Ernst Paul Klee René Magritte Marcel Mariën Paul Nougé and Raoul Ubac. The cover illustration is Magritte's "Le Viol" 1945. <br /><br />OCLC lists nine institutional holdings: Hofstra MOMA the Getty Art Institute of Chicago Northwestern Johns Hopkins Princeton Philadelphia and the Menil Collection.
