Son récit vaut comme peinture de mœurs, surtout pour la période de la Fronde" (Sources de l'histoire de France, n° 809). (1613-1681) Catherine de Meurdrac (1613-1681) choisit elle-même son époux (contre l’avis de son père) dont elle eut dix enfants. Durant la Fronde, elle accomplit diverses missions déguisée en homme. Deux siècles avant George Sand, elle est la première femme qui entreprit de rédiger des mémoires. Publié dans la "Bibliothèque Elzévirienne". Imprimé sur Hollande.
