2002 · sgn 1176 — <p>Fine/fine like new. Limited Artist Edition #166 of 800. 44 black and white wide angle plates of the Colorado River Plateau. The book is oblong and the plates are 4" x 12". There were 2000 books printed. There is a paste down plate on the back free flyleaf which states this information. The photographs are very high resolution and have a three dimensional quality. The photographer was commissioned to do this book by Waterous which seems to specialize in corporate art. Mr. Gibson had previously photographed East Texas and County Mayo Ireland. John H. Rohrbach wrote the introduction. He was the Associate Curator of Photographs for the Amon Carter Museum. The book and dust jacket are in fine like new condition. Mr. Gibson and Mr. Rohrbach both signed on the title page no inscription. This is an outstanding book of artistic and technical craft. See photos.
