Brossura editoriale, titolo entro filetto, testo entro filetto, nelle sue barbe, lievi fioriture, parzialmente sciolto. "Cette petite composition est un monument de l'humeur joyeusa de nos pères... pièce peu commune",. Canto carnascialesco anonimo,presentato della'editore, "un arrière petit-neveu du Docteur Matanasius". Descrive in versi e nei dettagli il corteo di Bacco quelo della Domenica Grassa con le sue Dame d'Onore (tra cui la Pucelle d'Orléans), e infne, Le Mont de PARNASSE con 9 lavandaie in luogo di Muse, e il "Charriot de Musique Douce, conduit par le PORC sellé, et la TRUIE qui file". Ogni figurante è descritto e spiegato nelle ampie NOTE e costituiscono precisi riferimenti, oltre che mitologici, a locali, alberghi e osterie, al VINO e ai cibi grassi, e a personaggi lionesi del tempo. Questo Saturnale fu giudicato scandaloso e alla sua empietà fu attribuita la peste che l'anno dopo, 1628, imperversò in Lione. L'editore però fa presente che la mascherata del 1627, pur impudica, non oltraggiava né il clero né le cose sante. Un libraio che ne offre nel web un esemplare (unito a un altro poemetto coevo - a prezzo ben più che ragguardevole - Webster's Bookstore Cafe) lo attribuisce a un Louis Garon (Genève 1574 - 1631) scrittore lionese autore di facezie. Demi-chagrin époque, dos lisse orné, tête dorée, couvertures et dos conservés, 372 pp. Avec un portrait et 82 illustrations hors-texte en héliogravure. Le Docteur Récamier, qui a accompagné le Duc d'Orléans dans de nombreux voyages, relate, en particulier les expéditions de chasse de 1904 au Spitzberg sur la "Maroussia", puis celles sur la "Belgica" commandée par De Gerlache en 1905 au Groënland, en 1907 en mer de Kara et en 1909 à la Terre François-Joseph. Bel exemplaire, parfaitement conservé.

Elegante legatura novecentesca in cartoncino grigio muto. Piccola integrazione di carta al margine esterno bianco della prima pagina e nel complesso esemplare in buone-ottime condizioni di conservazione e ancora in barbe. Prima assai rara edizione di questa importante opera del grande medico francese originario di Carcassone Jasn De Combe-Blance Janin. L'autore fu uno degli oculisti più celebri del suo tempo. Studiò a Montpellier ed ad Avignone. Divenne celebre per il primo intervento per l'asportazione di una cataratta fatta a Lione il cui successo fu totale. Si trasferì quindi definitivamente a Lione. Chiamato a Modena dal Duca di Modena risolse un grave problema di "Mephitisme" dei pozzi neri del Palazzo Ducale tanto da ricevere dal Duca il titolo di Medico-oculista ufficiale di Corte. L'opera è la prima mai scritta sull'argomento dell'eliminazione delle esalazioni perniciose dai pozzi neri e la sua uscita suscitò numerosi articoli in tutto il mondo. L'opera descrive molti casi pratici incontrati dall'autore presso palazzi reali, ducali, ville, grandi hotel compresa la sua esperienza al Palazzo Ducale di Modena. Prima edizione assai rara e ancor più rara per la presenza delle 8 pagine di supplemento. First edition rare.

Né et mort à Lyon, Antoine-François Delandine fut député à la Constituante puis bibliothécaire de l'Académie de Lyon. Arrêté en 1793 et emprisonné jusqu'après le 9 thermidor, il devint professeur de législation à l'Ecole centrale. Envoi autographe de l'auteur à "Monsieur de Ferrières", sans doute le marquis Charles-Elie de Ferrières, député de la noblesse aux Etats-Généraux, également membre de la Constituante. Très bon exemplaire.
