For each one rich illustrative collection, history and verses. Very beautiful cloth editorial with golden title and embossed decorations in the plates. Work complete of all pages. In fair conditions. Risulta mancante la planche 25 del tomo secondo e la planche 25 del tomo quarto. Scritto in forma di romanzo storico Corelli descrive la storia di Casa Savoia a partire da Berengario II sino alle lotte risorgimentali e l'unità d'Italia del 1861. Presente anche una parte sul 1862 (Il Ministero Rattazzi Aspromonte) e gli anni 1862-63-64 (Ministero Farini Minghetti. Convenzione italo-franca). All'interno sono presenti 120 bellissime incisioni su acciaio disegnate da Masutti ed eseguite da Gandini, Buccinelli, Clerici, Santamarin, Caretti, Parmiani che mostra scene e ritratti tra cui Garibaldi, Conte di Cavour, Vittorio Emanuele II, Francesco II ecc.. In buone condizioni. Copertina in mezza tela con titolo in oro al dorso in ottime condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni tranne le pagine dalla 719 alla 721 nel tomo primo in parte staccate. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture e qualche brunitura. Inside there are 120 very beautiful engravings drawn by Masutti and engraved by Gandini, Buccinelli, Clerici, Santamarin, Caretti, Parmiani showing scenes and portarits between them Garibaldi, Conte di Cavour, Vittorio Emanuele II, Francesco II ecc... In good conditions. Half cloth cover with golden title in the spine in very good general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in good conditions apart for pages from 719 until 721 in first tome partially detached. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings and some yellowings. Pages from 801 until 832 and planche 25 of tome II, from 65 until 72 in tome III, planche 25 in tome IV are missing. Tome II: First title page partially restored with stains. Tome III: Planche IV cut. Some planches have some humidity stains and the binder did not bound them in the correct way as indicated by editor.

(mm. 183x112), affascinante legatura in p. marocchino blu, sottili cornici dorate e decorazioni di foglie ai quattro angoli con, al centro del piatto anteriore, due comici personaggi intarsiati a colori (bianco rosso verde e argento) e la scritta “If I can wheedle a knife or needle why not a silver churn?” e a quello posteriore un giullare a colori ocra e verde con in mano una pillola dorata e la frase “For he who’d make his fellow-creatures wise should always gild the philosophic pill!” - firmata “Bound by Riviere & Son“ al risguardo con preziosa dentelle dorata, tagli pure in oro, in astuccio. Il volume, di pp. (6),698, raccoglie il gruppo completo di tredici operette scritte da Gilbert & Sullivan e così chiamate perchè venivano messe in scena al Savoy Theatre di Londra. La Legatoria Riviere fu una delle più importanti del West End londinese dove operò fra il 1840 e il 1939. Le loro superbe legature erano molto apprezzate dai bibliofili per la qualità e l’attenzione al dettaglio e ricevettero commissioni anche dalla Regina Vittoria e dalla famiglia reale. La dicitura “Riviere & Son” apparve a partire dal 1880 quando Robert Rivière passò la sua attività al genero Percival Calkin. Esemplare in perfetto stato.
