Lopera si distingue per leleganza, per la purezza dello stile e per le nuove ed importanti riflessioni presenti nel testo. Prov.: Ex-libris su carta incollato al contropiatto anteriore con armi, stemma e motto (Sigil Malan de Merindol - Deus arx mea). Probabilmente il libro è appartenuto alla collezione privata di Magnus Andre De Merindol Malan (1930-2011) [Politico, difensore dell'apartheid in Africa; fu nominato capo dell'esercito sudafricano nel 1973, poi capo della forza di difesa sudafricana nel 1976, quindi ministro della Difesa nel 1980 e successivamente presidente del consiglio; pose le basi per l'indipendenza della Namibia dal Sudafrica nel 1990].
