004875No Place: No Publisher Five pieces of ephemera various sizes and dates but between 1862 and 1878 and probably all published in Alnwick with four relating to the Percy Artillery Volunteers and one to the 5th Northumberland Volunteer Rifle Corps. Lightly browned and lightly creased the largest item with several closed tears including to folds and edges all with minor evidence of being removed from a scrap album. The first item is a handbill dated 1862 approximately 125mm x 205mm in size relating to a bazaar held in Alnwick to fund the 5th Northumberland Volunteer Rifle Corps. The second item is a handbill approximately 225mm x 200mm in size which gives the strength in numbers of the Percy Artillery Volunteers for the years 1871-2. The third item approximately 260mm x 205mm in size is the financial statement for the year 1877-78. The fourth approximately 210mm x 325mm is an extract from the annual return of the Percy Artillery Volunteer Brigade from 1878 showing the staff and the numerical strength of the various units; with the fifth from 1877 approximately 745mm x 510mm in size showing the strength of the Artillery Volunteers with a list of ranks and names.
