Important - and very scarce - trade brochure for Goddess Films the distribution company of pioneering women's experimental filmmaker Barbara Hammer. It includes brief synopses of 22 of her groundbreaking short films among them Sappho 1978 - which helps to roughly date the publication - and numerous sexually explicit films such as Multiple Orgasm and Women I Love. Rental and sale prices are printed beside each film title. An original artist's book by Hartmann signed titled and dated by him on the rear pastedown. Each leaf bears an arrangement sometimes occupying most of the page sometimes a portion of it of Hartmann's characteristic symbols including recurrent stylized fish. A number of the individual leaves are dated in September demonstrating that Hartmann's work on this undertaking spanned a number of weeks. Laid in is a photo postcard of the artist.
