Il tutto avviene nell'attesa di vedere al Central Court l'incontro tra Murray e Djokovic che sancirà il ritorno al successo di un britannico dopo tantissimi anni, infatti, in copertina abbiamo voluto postare due dei tennisti che hanno fatto la storia del tennis anglosassone; Fred Perry e Andy Murray. Prefazione di Lello Lucignano.
br. Proposto per la prima volta al lettore italiano nella sua forma originaria così come pubblicato nel 1894 - questo volume racchiude due testi 'gemelli'. Twain stesso racconta, nella sua introduzione e nelle altre note al volume, di un primo abbozzo nel quale prova l'incastro di due vicende in una, una farsa e una tragedia. Poi si accorge di non poterle tenere insieme e le divide. Da questa operazione chirurgica, ecco dunque nascere "Wilson lo svitato e I gemelli straordinari", che è la parte farsesca del concepimento iniziale. Wilson lo svitato è un giovane avvocato di belle speranze ma di scarsa fortuna che, appena giunto in città, a causa di una battuta infelice viene scambiato per sciocco. Sarà lui a risolvere lo strano caso dei bambini scambiati nella culla da Rowena, la schiava dalla pelle bianca. In secondo piano appaiono qui due gemelli italiani, protagonisti invece dell'inedito testo "I gemelli straordinari". Si tratta però in questo secondo caso di gemelli siamesi, e l'effetto, benché oggi possa apparire poco rispettoso, è di una comicità sconfinata: un paradossale uomo a due teste, l'una gentile, l'altra rozza, l'una astemia e l'altra alcolista. Mark Twain, al meglio del suo feroce umorismo, indaga la doppia natura dell'animo umano.
