Sm. 4to., 32pp plus cover, with stylised watermarked pages and severa; Nazi-period stamps; boards, cloth back, a crisp, clean, remarkably well-preserved copy. This particular copy of the standard worker's occupation record was issued to an employee of printer and publisher August Scherl Nachfolger based at 35-41 Zimmerstrasse in SW Berlin. It would appear that the individual concerned was employed at the same establishment for the entire duration of WWII. Very uncommon in anything like this condition.

Powerful cover illustration by Noya Koslowsky of a vengeful young armed and bearded Jewish partisan, as a 150 tall ghost marching through bombed out Nazi Poland; the image became iconic as a symbol of Jewish armed resistance.
