Was intended to be a total of 32 weekly parts but no indication others were ever published in this format. Each part seems to include 4volumes totaling around 50pages. Full of diagrams and b/w photographs in addition each part includes a data sheet with each covering a different aerodome around the UK. As might be expected to wraps have various rubbing scuffs and nicks and some of the spine card has been repaired with tape. 1944488Canada: 97X Squadron Royal Air Force 1944. First edition. Paperback. Fair. Woolley P.W. Blue stapled pamphlet 35 pages a souvenir from the 97th air navigation training on Prince Edward Island. The condition is a bit rough with corners bent and curling some pencil marks to the front cover and a note one page indicating the previous owner's relation to one of the airmen. Soil and a pencilled notation to the tan rear cover. This book seems to have been written and produced by the members of Squadron 97X during the time of their stay on PEI for training. Flight Lieutenant E.F. Dobie and Flying Officer W.J. Birrell are listed as "Men Responsible" so they may have taken and editing hand to this pamphlet. Full page bio and pictures of 21 airmen along with a cartoon soccer match photo and description of a concert. Represented squadron members are Dobie Birrell Adams Allan Chapman Donelly Finnis Gowers Habgood Higgins Lee Lovell McCracken Owen Paris Reinstadtler Richardson Smart Spencer Stevenson Turner Williams and Woolley.
