They were quite successful judging by the numbers of published copies of their book survived. This copy has 8 "Cerificates of Subscription" laid in for orders. A Special Notice tipped in states "Our Work.will be complete in one volume providing the sad war in progress is finished by the time the first edition is published". AN EXTENSIVE AND WELL ILLUSTRATED HISTORY OF CUBA'S FIGHT FOR INDEPENDENCE FROM SPAIN.
