This is only volume 9 of the original 12 volume set. The exterior leather is quite scuffed and worn particularly on the edges and corners. The spine area has a clear reinforcement library tape attached and the spine underneath shows the labels are missing as well as several large pieces. The internal binding of the text portion of the pages is good but both hinges at boards has also been reinforced with old library tape. There is some pulling/hinge cracking at the front end pages all the way up to the title page but everything is still attached - although the front end pages are pulling away at the top portion. The book appears complete and the book appears handwriting free no library markings etc. Pages are toned throughout the several areas showing various degrees of foxing. Scattered pages also have some smudge marks and minor chipping present.
