Very good.

The French socialist politician and journalist Jean Longuet 1876-1938 was Karl Marx's grandson. Born in London the family frequently visited Marx and subsequently moved to France in 1881. A pacifist during the First World War he was active in French politics especially the French Section of the Workers' International serving as a mayor and a member of the French Chamber of Deputies. He was originally denied a visa to lecture in the U.S. in 1920 due to his politics and being the grandson of Karl Marx. After the French radicals split into 2 parties Longuet divorced himself from the Russian Soviet communists joining force with Leon Bloom and becoming one of the leaders of the Left-Wing Conservative Socialists.
