Publisher's blue cloth gilt to the spine and upper board the latter also featuring an embossed portrait of Marx handwritten gift labels to the front pastedowns dated 1973 dust jackets. Jacket spines tanned those to volumes II and III also a little stained occasional edge wear with some loss to the head of the spine of volume III browning to the early leaves of the first two volumes else very good. Two of the volumes have second title pages with the imprint of Progress Publishers of Moscow the other volume has a label affixed to the verso of the solitary title page stating the names of translator Jack Cohen and the editors S. Ryazanskaya and Richard Dixon and that it was printed in the U.S.S.R. London: Lawrence & Wishart unknown
