This pamphlet was originally done for the NATO military version of this gun and as such has a different cover title and title page pasted down though due to the age and lack of adhesion of the glue have become loose but laid-on and has a note to disregard the "Automatic" function information as the "new american model" is a semi-automatic functioning gun only. The binding is solid and tight. The contents are bright and clean with information and illustrations throughout including a fold-out "blue-print" style image of the gun at the rear. A very detailed etching typical of the meticulous style of Arms renowned for his prolific printmaking specifically of Gothic architecture. <br/><br/>Julian P. Boyd was a librarian 1940-52 and later history professor at Princeton University. His preservation work regarding the site of the Battle of Hastings led to his appointment of honorary Commander of the Order of the British Empire. His scholarship of The Papers of Thomas Jefferson edited from 1944 until his death have been deemed most influential and have set a new standard for reliability and accuracy in historical editing. unknown books
