Both leaflets somewhat foxed and trifle soiled chipped with a little loss though still in good condition for what were most likely once-active leaflets in a warzone. Two propaganda leaflets intended to be dropped over UN Forces in Korea attempting to convince them to surrender and cooperate with the KPA and PVA. Each leaflet appeals to different modes of persuasion with one relying on an emotional appeal and the other from the perspective of logic. <br> <br>'Darling I Will Dream That You Are Coming Back to Me This Christmas' is a typical example in the long-winded history of so-called 'counterfeit Christmas cards' that purport to show wistful appeals from sweethearts abandoned back home. The addition of the details of a supposedly deceased GI are intended to add credence to the letter's authenticity though a quick search reveals the soldier in question returned home after his successful tour of duty in Korea married his sweetheart and led out the rest of his life very well. <br> <br>'Truth Will Out' is a very early example of the conflicting narratives that permeate the North Korean historiography of the Armistice Agreement - most retellings largely hinging on the portrayal of the American leadership as a gaggle of mercurial incompetents. <br> <br>This particular account details a ceasefire negotiation in which General William K. Harrison abruptly walked out before waiting to hear General Nam Il's "very reasonable proposal". The ultimate purpose of this tale is to encourage UN Forces to passively revolt in protest. While the event did indeed take place in June 1952 in reality Harrison was not empowered to hear counter-proposals and called a recess before Nam Il had the opportunity to launch into what would have undoubtedly been an over-rehearsed propagandistic diatribe. D. Bruce Lockerbie the author of Harrison's biography theorised that the ultimate goal of the American delegation's walk-out was to not only deny the North Koreans a platform but also shock them which it evidently did. . Die vorliegenden Ausgaben stammen alle aus dem Jahr der "Machtergreifung". Drei der Ausgaben dienten der direkten Berichterstattung über den Reichsparteitag 1933 in Nürnberg (Titel: Reichsparteitag/Kongress des Sieges). Auch bemerkenswert sind Anzeigen für Filmaufführungen, so etwa für den Film "Adolf Hitler spricht zu den Arbeitern in Siemensstadt". Die Ausgaben enthalten neben den Texten auch zahlreiche fotografische Abbildungen (s/w), oft in größeren Formaten. Very Good Turkish Paperback. Demy 8vo. (21 x 14 cm). In Turkish. 27, [1] p., unnumbered b/w plates and one screen print color plate by Kayihan Keskinok. Feyzoglu wrote several books in different fields in Turkish literature like "Atatürkçe", "Sapaneli", "Ates ve Inanç", "Uçurtma", "Sultankiz", "Canerigi", "Utangaç Çiçek", "Atatürk Ilkeleri ve Inkilabimiz" is a teacher with a military background. Teachers' Day celebrated every November 24 in Turkey is his idea that he offered. This book contains three traditional Turkish tales. Tales were shortened by the author, and didactic elements in fairy tales were strengthened. This book was illustrated by Kayihan Keskinok, (1923-2015), who was a Turkish artist. He studied at Gazi Institute of Education, Department of Painting between 1942 and 1945. He later worked at Refik Epikman and Malik Aksel workshops. He worked as an assistant in Lausanne, to where he went on a scholarship granted by the Swiss Government, in the School of Arts between 1960 and 1961. He had more than sixty solo exhibitions and received nine awards, among which Ministry of Culture 50th Year Contest, Atatürk and Republic Award in 1973 and Ministry of Culture, Atatürk and his Reforms Painting Contest, First Prize in 1981 can be cited. The artist pursues his work through materialism that is based on poetic, creative, imaginary inspirations. Since 1983, he has been the director of his own workshop and works as an independent artist. All illustrations inside the book including screenprint one well were printed only in this book. The first fairy tale in this book is a "Keloglan [i.e. Bald boy]" tale which is a fictional character in Turkish culture and fairy tales. A well-known character in Turkish folklore, Keloglan -also known as Kelesoglan- has the problem of being bald from birth. He represents the Anatolian people who can have big dreams, who are virtuous, prudent, a little bald, a little romantic, and very sporty as well as very smart. Minor stains on front and back cover.
