Hardcover. 044651201X . a touch of foxing to top page edges but no significant wear; jacket has a short closed tear and associated horizontal creasing fairly unobtrusive at bottom of front flap a little horizontal laminate-puckering near bottom of rear panel. endpaper maps INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on a special publisher's printed bookplate affixed to the half-title page: "Richard Nixon / for / Jimmy Stewart." The disgraced ex-President's umpteenth book this one pushing the thesis that "World War III has begun and we are losing it." It's not especially surprising that Stewart would have been on Nixon's celebrity presentation list he was of the Republican persuasion and no doubt a generous donor to the cause but other than normal shelfwear there's no real indication that he ever cracked this book open and attempted to absorb its contents jacket-blurb claims for it as "a strategy no thinking citizen can afford not to consider carefully" notwithstanding.
