Lubin Baugin (ca. 1612- 1663) was associated with the Fontainebleau school in the 1620's. He returned to Paris around 1628 only to begin traveling in Italy in the 1630's. After centuries of neglect he was rediscovered in the 1930's by Paul Jamot and Charles Sterling.
