Mounted on a support sheet.Photographs of St Ann's Well in Great Malvern capture a stunning Grade II listed building from 1813 nestled into the Malvern Hills. The iconic site features intricate Victorian carvingsand the famous spring water fountain.It is believed that St Ann’s Well is named after St Anne the patron saint of springs and wells. However James McKay a 19th-century antiquarian thought that “St Ann’s Well – in its primary form means simply the well dedicated to the sun.†He speculated that Worcestershire Beacon may have been known as St Ann’s Hill or Tan Hill after Tanfana the Belgic God of Fire and St Ann may be a modification of that name. Jacques Cathy poursuit sa carrière de chansonnier après le décès de Toziny en 1939 et après la guerre il conduit parallèlement une carrière d’acteur dans le cinéma. Originally conceived in 1796 by Jean-Charles Pellerin in his native village of Épinal Vosges the images d'Épinal were inexpensive woodcuts and lithographs of religious and historical content intended for the commonconsumer. During the Napoleonic wars these images became extremely popular as Pellerin's printing house Imagerie d'Épinal cornered the market on commemorative historical prints. During the Great War the traditional style of these prints appealed to French artists looking to show their patriotism as in the eyes of an increasingly anti-German public the image d'Épinal came to represent a distinctly French product unmarred by foreign influence.
