This is a very good hardcover copy, a bound volume, containing 13 issues of this rare journal. The 12 monthly issues plus a Special Number brought out in August. All covers bound in. The pea-green cloth covers have titles and the journal masthead device in gilt to the front cover. Generally clean outside, but spine tips frayed, top and bottom front corners worn and the spine rear outside hinge worn. Binding firm and tight. All 12 monthly issues plus the special number with articles and advertisements from the trade. Occasional illustrations, but mostly articles, notes on firms and producers, new products, soaps, confectionery, mineral water and tobacco trades, etc. A wealth of information on the trade in 1929. The journal was founded by John C.Umney in 1910, with Volume 1, and continued through Volume 60 in 1969. This volume edited by Archibald C.Merrin. Contains the index for the year. Bound volumes quite rare. 11" high X 8" wide, each issue about 36 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.

Le cadastre servira, par ailleurs, d'outil statistique pour mesurer de la richesse du royaume et de sa population et comme tel permettra d'évaluer les facteurs favorables à la puissance de l'Etat. Turgot qui ne partageait pas le point de vue centralisateur de Tillet du Villars le démît de ses fonctions. Cette étude constitua une source théorique de première importance pour Gracchus Babeuf, organisateur de la "conjuration des Égaux" et précurseur du communisme (cf. V. Daline, 'G. Oblong 4to (200 x 275 mm), 8pp., French and English title pages, 20 engraved views mounted (one or two with a few spots), each with a leaf of dual language text, endpapers browned and a little chipped, publisher's red morocco-backed pebble-grained cloth, titled in gilt on upper cover, head and foot of spine rubbed, light stain to lower board. A series of views detailing all of the stages involved in the production of kid gloves at the Trefousse works, Chaumont, including preparing the skins, cutting, sewing, dyeing, and finishing. Tr?fousse was one of the leading manufacturers, employed over 5000 people and cut out 1,750,000 pairs of gloves annually.

Notes from fantastic realms (wonders of the world): Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Colossus of Rhodes, Great Pyramids of Egypt, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, etc. and their descriptions.; There are his course scores section in the name of 'Müzakere notlari'.; Navigation history notes.; His exam dates.; Diary for some days showing naval education in early Republican Turkey and some personal notes.; Some poems.; 'Beginning English for the Levant'.; Morse Alphabet with Ottoman script, etc. Cloth margins slightly rubbed, no missing. There is original pen pocket of note book, however its pen is missing. Some pages designed as an alphabetical index personally by writer. Otherwise it's a very good manuscript.
