He later published works on capital punishment and poverty issues. Meaney with his signature to the front pastedown and further inscribed 'From C. T. Conover Seattle Wash.' This copy has been specially bound with a leather spine and two bevelled and varnished wooden boards. 38pp. with 10 b/w plates one panorama shot of the waterfront and one map. Issued as a souvenir for Seattle's guests on the occasion of the celebration commemorating the completion of the Great Northern Railway to its Pacific terminus at Seattle and the inauguration of through traffic June 1893. Format in-8°(20x13).En 1809, il est ministre plénipotentiaire auprès du grand-duc de Bade à Karlsruhe; un décret impérial le nomme administrateur général de l'Autriche. De Vienne il est envoyé à Varsovie (1810), où il est chargé d'affaires pendant trois ans et sert les vues du gouvernement impérial sur le Duché de Varsovie. Il reçut en récompense le titre de baron de l'empire.Après les événements de 1814, Bignon disparut un moment de la scène politique. Il consacra ses loisirs à un Exposé comparatif de l'état financier, militaire, politique et moral de la France et des principales puissances de l'Europe.

Cadre de filet doré, nom et adresse du journal de part et d'autre en bas sur fond bleu dans un cartouche doré. Les mois imprimés en noir sur fond beige dans un encadrement doré sont présentés de part et d'autre de la feuille, laissant le plus d'espace possible au décor. le centre est entièrement occupé par une vue panoramique du Palais ellipsoïdal conçu par l'architecte Léopold Hardy pour abriter les 5200 exposants d'une quarantaine de pays, présentant des innovations scientifiques, techniques, et industrielles; les pavillons des pays étrangers et des colonies qui gravitaient autour sont représentés discrètement. Les parties supérieure et latérales sont totalement consacrées aux drapeaux, écus armoriés et couronnes des pays exposants; celui de la France étant au centre. On s'amusera à identifier, dans la partie basse, les symboles des Arts, Lettres, Sciences, Industries, Commerce et Agriculture. l'ensemble présente des détails minutieux, foisonnants et très vivement colorés. petit trou d'épingle au bas et au ras de la bordure, se perdant dans le décor, pliure centrale verticale d'origine. BEAU DOCUMENT TRES RARE DANS UN EXCEPTIONNEL ETAT DE CONSERVATION ET DE FRAICHEUR.
