A small advertorial in 'The Catholic Press' on 17 December 1936 refers to Saunders's 'three city stores - George-street Railway-square corner of Pitt and Liverpool streets and King and Pitt streets'. This title was issued occasionally by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and the Chamber of Commerce. There is one currently 12/21/2020 offered online dated circa 1917. The bookseller offering the earlier edition shows page 2 in his online offering; the statistical table on that page is significantly expanded in this circa 1920 issue that provides statistical tables based on statistics gathered in 1919. "To the visitors of San Diego: Welcome to our midst! This is an official publication issued for the use and benefit of the guests of our city.
